Inside Out Connects is a US-based service, but accessible to users around the world. By using this website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”), regardless of your location. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use this Service.
By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Services Provided

Inside Out Connects provides:

  • Public display of inmate profiles

  • Links to third-party messaging or mail services

We are not a dating website, matchmaking service, legal services provider, or social services agency.
We do not guarantee responses, friendships, relationships, or outcomes of any kind.

4. User Accounts

Some features may require the creation of a user account. You are responsible for:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Profile Submissions

Users may submit profiles for incarcerated individuals. By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You have permission from the individual represented

  • Information is accurate to the best of your knowledge

  • Content does not violate privacy, legal, or institutional rules

We may edit, reject, or remove content for safety, legal, or administrative reasons.

6. Public Profiles

Profiles submitted to Inside Out Connects may be publicly visible and indexed by search engines.
Do not submit content that includes sensitive personal information without consent.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Harass, exploit, or harm others

  • Promote illegal activity

  • Impersonate others

  • Submit false, defamatory, or abusive content

You must comply with all applicable prison, mail, and institutional regulations when communicating with incarcerated individuals.

8. Communications and Safety

Inside Out Connects does not monitor or manage communication between users and incarcerated individuals.
We are not responsible for:

  • Non-delivery of mail

  • Rejected or returned correspondence

  • Communication outcomes

  • Emotional, financial, or legal consequences

Use caution, respect, and common sense when engaging with others.

We strongly recommend never sending money or personal financial details to individuals you do not personally know.

9. Payments and Refunds

Fees collected for profile listings or related services help support platform operations.
Unless required by law, all payments are non-refundable.

Purchasing a profile listing does not guarantee responses or outcomes.

10. Third-Party Services

We may link to third-party communication or payment platforms (such as messaging providers, mail services, or payment processors).
We are not responsible for their policies, security, or performance.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, except for user-submitted profiles, is owned by Inside Out Connects. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without written consent.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties
